This is just a pretty typical (non-text) page from a sketch book and a random remark. I do a lot of my sketches in ball point pen, I prefer a specific sort of ball point pen I buy from a vending machine at a DMV in the Bronx. The head are rod shaped instead of conical, allowing you to angle them low to get a light, smoky line, but the ink produces a nice, hearty black when you need it to. They're also click pens, instead of capped, which lets them hang securely in the spiral of a spiral bound notebook. |
